When there seems no way out, a flicker of hope arises from The Lighthouse.

Our programs and projects focus on promoting Education, Skill Development, Health and Hygiene.

​

Education: Primary through Higher Secondary Education for Children who are on the street, from broken homes, dropouts, and from the poorest of the poor sections of our societies.

​

Skill Development Centers: Train women and young adults with employable skills that help in their lives and livelihoods.

​

HEALTH: Supporting numerous primary health centers in villages and communities that have zero or negligible access to primary health care facilities.

​

Hygiene: Design & implement outreach programs and campaigns that help promote self-hygiene and partner with communities to build or augment their basic hygiene and sanitation infrastructure.

Our team members work tirelessly round the clock to ensure that the mission of this organization is effectively implemented. Every pain counts, every need is prime, and around this, we build our very own LIGHTHOUSE OF HOPE AND RESTORATION. It is often said that either one can give the needy, the hungry a fish to eat, or teach them how to fish. The former is alms and shortsighted. The latter is empowerment and life-long. One is driven by pity, the other with dignity. Our dream is to make The Lighthouse a beacon of empowerment and dignity. We want to teach them how to fish.
